HOC Advisory Partners, a HOC Capital Club company headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, runs this website and decides how the personal data it collects is used. For anything about your data, email info@hocadvisorypartners.com.

When you send the consultation form, we receive your name, your email address, what you would like to discuss and your objective. You can also add your company, institution or organisation, phone number, state, sector and a preferred date and time, which includes your time zone if you choose a slot in it.

We use these details to reply to you, arrange a consultation and prepare for it. We rely on your request for us to take these steps before any engagement, and on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

This website does not store your request. Resend, our email delivery service, passes it to our inbox, which Google Workspace hosts.

If you allow it, your browser shares your device's position so the navigation can show your town next to your local time. Your browser asks you first, and you can say no. We rely on your consent.

Your browser rounds the coordinates to about 110 metres before sending them. Our server passes them to the OpenStreetMap Foundation's Nominatim service, which returns a place name. Place names © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License. We do not log the coordinates or link them to you. To avoid repeat lookups, our host keeps each place-name answer, filed under its rounded coordinates, for up to 7 days.

Your browser keeps the place and the rounded coordinates for 30 minutes, then discards them. You can withdraw permission at any time in your browser's site settings, and the site then deletes that record.

If you do not share your location, the site estimates your city or region from your IP address using our host's standard geolocation, shows it as approximate and does not store it. We rely on our legitimate interest in showing a relevant local time.

Vercel, our hosting provider, receives your IP address and standard request details, such as your browser and the pages you open, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Vercel keeps these logs for a short period.

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. The location record described above is the only thing it stores in your browser.

• Resend, United States: delivers consultation requests to our inbox.
• Google, through Google Workspace: hosts our email.
• OpenStreetMap Foundation, United Kingdom: names the place at rounded coordinates.

We do not sell personal data or share it for marketing. We disclose it to authorities only where the law requires us to.

These providers process data outside Nigeria, including in the United States and the United Kingdom. We use them under their data protection terms and transfer data abroad only on a basis the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 permits.

• Consultation requests: in our inbox for as long as we need them to reply, to manage any engagement that follows and to meet our legal obligations. We then delete them.
• Location: 30 minutes in your browser, place-name answers for up to 7 days on our host, and no coordinates in our logs.
• Technical logs: Vercel's standard retention period.

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of your personal data
• correct it
• delete it
• restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it
• send it to you or to another organisation in a portable format
• stop using data you gave with consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before.

Email info@hocadvisorypartners.com and we will respond without undue delay. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

We serve the site only over HTTPS, and consultation requests travel encrypted to our email provider.

This website is for businesses and institutions. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We update this notice when the site changes how it uses personal data, and change the date at the top of the page.
